Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department experts visited

FATA and AOAC China Section

    January 17, 2013, Dr. Gloria TAM Lai-fan (Controller, Center for Food Safety and Environmental Hygiene Department ) and her colleagues from Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department visited Shandong Inspection and Quarantine Technical Center and AOAC China Section. Dr. Bao Lei, president of AOAC China Section, deputy director of FATA, introduced the situations of laboratories to the visitors, including recognized qualifications, equipments, personnel structure, testing standards, quality control, proficiency testing, researches, international cooperation and exchanges and had the experts’ approval. Both sides hope to strengthen communication and exchange of technology and jointly contribute to food safety in China.
