Jason L. Edgar from 3M visited China Section Office and attend ceremony of partnership

On May 20, 2011, Jason L. Edgar, Regulatory Director, Food Safety Department, 3M and his colleagues from 3M visited AOAC China Section Office. A ceremony was held at the same day for the establishment of partnership between FAPA/SDCIQ and 3M.

Deputy General Director Li Feng-Gui, from Shan Dong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of China; Deputy General Director Cong-Yan, from Qing Dao Commerce Bureau; Director Zhang Qi-Guang, from Qing Dao Science and Technology Bureau; Liau Yong Wee, APAC Business Development Manager Food Safety, 3M; Sr. General Manager, Wallach Wu, from 3M China and Dr. Lei Bao, President of China Section of AOAC INTERNATIONAL and Director of Biotoxin Reference Laboratory of AQSIQ were present at this visit and ceremony.  Director Cheng-Zhu Liang, from Shan Dong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Chair the ceremony.

Jason said that 3M has great interest in the forthcoming AOAC China Section Annual Meeting and also in the collaboration with AOAC China to be actively involved with Chinese analytical community and help to solve food safety issues based on scientific solutions.
